United Way Campaign Ideas
As an Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC), you have the challenging yet rewarding task of encouraging your fellow employees to be an active part of community change.
Because new ideas and creative events often equal a successful employee campaign, please use the form at the side to submit your campaign ideas. By sharing what worked and what did not work at your business, you are helping your fellow ECCs run an effective campaign.
Sample Ideas
Below is a list of some fun activities that help engage employees in the campaign:
- Ugly clothing contest. Employees enter an "ugly clothing" contest in which they wear an item they consider ugly. Sell ballots to select a winner and runner-up.
- Dunk tank. Employees can buy two balls for $1 and try to dunk various top executives in the tank.
- Amazing race. Teams of employees work together to move through a course requiring different forms of transportation during each leg (i.e. pushing hospital beds, riding tricycles, etc.). Teams are charged an entry fee for participation.
